The absolute highlight of the day was at the end of this hike, when I literally ran around like a fool in the parking lot to make my recording roll over to exactly 2 miles. 😂 Just because.

Pine Mt. sunset yoga class
FINALLY got to go to this group yoga hike, which kept either getting rained out or conflicting with my schedule. So glad I got to do this one! (And not just because it added a few checkmarks to my hiking lists. 
LOL) The conditions were very good, and the sunset tonight was beautiful. What a great way to close out a nice weekend.

hike 46.5: new moon ritual
Final "reflection hike"… and another checkmark off the list. 
As I did for my previous reflection hike, I took to the most important place: my land. It felt like a good day for a little shamanic ritual, as well as some trail work. Not only did the weather turn out perfect, but I actually didn't realize until after the fact that tonight is the New Moon! Good time for a ritual, indeed! 
While maybe this wasn't technically traditional "hiking" (simply because of the slowness of cutting trails), it still added up to over a mile and a half, and was a couple hours well spent. 
Therefore it fits the parameters of the challenge. So "hike," indeed.

But every little bit helps. I will eventually have the full perimeter path I want, as well as everything else I desire on my land... my home.

It's such a great, easy hike, with a beautiful payoff for the entire length of trail...
